Deepit Purkayastha is the Co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer at In shorts (previously known as News in Shorts), the company that was launched in 2013 and today owns India’s highest-rated news app with more than 3 million users. Deepit has a dual degree in Science and Engineering from IIT Kharagpur and started building In shorts in his final year of college along with his co-founders from IIT Delhi.
